Fallout 1 in windowed mode

Well, property wise:

Inter(R)Pentium(R) M
1.60GHz, 504MB of RAM
Windows XP
Direct X 9.0c

I didn't notice anything covering this in the Troubleshooting FAQ, and since noone was posting specs....sorry for causing trouble.

search for D3D, right click the link and save link as, otherwise it'll open up the rar in your browser for some reason

just tried to run f1 in d3dWindower... It runs but there's a problem: I can't swith to another window. Alt-Tab, Win-key don't work, only ctrl-alt-del, but after it it isn't possible to play - the f1 window fills up with black color and I can see nothing.
I found half-enlish version (some options are translated), but changing them does nothing.
Anyone knows how to switch to other windows?

well i got d3d and it seems to work, however i get this error on loading failure initializing input devices, if anyone knows how to fix that in d3d id appreciate it

edit: managed to get it to run by disabling directx1-7, but then it runs in full screen not windowed
