Fallout 1 Time Questions(Spoilers!)

I bought fallout 1 on steam and i have version 1.2. I'm wondering if the time limits still apply. I know that the water chip time limit still apply and that the mutant invasion of vault 13 was extended from 500 days to 13 years(for technical reasons) but do the mutants still invade cities like necropolis?

Mutants will still destroy Necropolis.

Shady Sands, The Followers and The Hub will be OK in-game, however if you left the Master for too long, they will be destroyed by mutants in the ending slideshow.
