Fallout 1 water chip

Been such along time since I last played this....so forgive my ignorance.

Just wandering do you concentrate on the water chip quest first bypasssing anything else due to the time limit....or have you enough time to dilly dally around doing other quests?

I'm well into August and have only checked vault 15 so far.

You have enough time to do other quests, but your primary goal should be to find the waterchip, I guess.

I've never ran out of time playing FO, not even during my first playthrough when I hardly knew what I was doing.

Unless you aimlessly around the worldmap too often then you could probably do a good 20-50% of the entire game without getting the chip. 150 days may seem like a short limit but unless you [spoiler:ac6dbabc57]go to the glow for the brotherhood quest[/spoiler:ac6dbabc57] you should have plenty of time do do as you please.

There is a time limit, but that is not a problem for you. Taking too long will unfortunately get you a bad ending because the mutant armies will certain places
