Fallout 2 high resolution patch hits 2.0

Mash has released a new version of his Fallout 2 high resolution patch, now with the option to set screen resolutions ingame.

Has anyone used one of these patches with Gametap? That is the version of Fallout 2 that I'm playing right now and I would not mind adding a few luxuries to it.

It probably does not work with gametap, since their files are coded.

Just go to GOG.com and buy it for those few bucks, it is worth it, supporting awesome company like CDProjekt.

So how exactly does this affect the game, cause i have tried using such a thing before and i couldn't notice a difference

does it just make everything small, so you can fit more on the screen and make it all look a little more detailed? are there comparison screen shots anywhere?

So how exactly does this affect the game

Normally, Fallout has a set resolution (640*480) that's stretched to your screen. The resolution patch keeps everything to the size it would be on a 640*480 resolution screen, and instead stretches your field of vision.

I've checked 1024x600, now it works fullscreen 1:1 on my MSI WIND
