Fallout 2: Music Doesn't work

Just read the damn instructions! It's really not that hard.

So do that, start the game and see if you still don't have any music.

It still doesn't work
Anyways what I meant was do I change the cfg files now?
 
Then be more verbose, please. I can't know what you've done if you don't tell me. Yes, check the music path in the config file.

I got the exactly same problem you have. How you solved yours? Changed the folder where you installed the game?

Uninstall, reinstall to a different folder. Someone should really put up a sign on top of this forum, saying "DO NOT INSTALL TO PROGRAM FILES, EVER".

I just installed it in c\ directory, not in program files. =X

But I will try again, so thank you for the answer. You look a little upset, sorry sorry, may be boring answer the same question too many times, I know.
