Fallout 2 NPC Armor Mod

First time out of the vault
Hi new here and have a quick question. I remember that there was once a stand alone file for having your NPC's in F2 show the armor they are wearing, but now it is just in one big patch. Now that I have converted to the newest unofficial Fallout 2 patch I was wondering how to get this back.

Thanks!

There was a version I made that was compatible with my patch. Since the newest release of my work, it is no longer compatible. Give me a week or so to release a new version of the mod that works with my patch. I have had numerous requests so what the hell might as well update the NPC mod again...

yeah thanks a lot, I love the new patch, just waiting on the new npc armor mod =) Your work is much appreciated!

Yeah, give me by Friday. Since I have gotten several requests I shall do this first before I do more work on my expansion. I have been busy in the "real world" and thus have been away from Fallout for a few days...

Ok, didn't take that long at all. Only two scripts needed to be changed since my previous release. This version is intended to be used with my latest unofficial patch released on June 11. Since I am not the original author of this mod I do not take credit for its creation nor responsible for any odd glitches it may cause. If you do run into something, do post anyway and I will see what can be done.

Enjoy everyone!

NPC Appearance Mod

I there some same mod, but which show only power armor on party members? when lenny looks like cassidy and myron like vic is not so fine.

Only NPCs who could wear armor are affected by this mod. Lenny, Marcus, etc do not change looks. But yes, it is possible for Myron to look similar to Cassidy with this mod. The is no mod which only changes looks for Power armor. This can easily be done, however. Just alter the script to change appearance for only power armor and not the other armors.

How can I find creator of mod? I need sources and instructions.
Well I think the modder for the mod was Jargo. You could try contacting him for what to do. If I were you I would download modding tools and try extracting the files in the mod and comparing them to the original scripts.

Yup that's me :P.
In the oryginal mod (it was called B-TEAM) there is added source script for sulik(with komments etc).
So go to NMA downloads(or get it from FMC) and download B-Team and read the source file.

I don't wanna write it again for wach NPS, Gief ALL scripts plz, Me not understeand scripts, I can't write it from zero

Quick question, is this a mod/add that would require to restart again?

'cause seriously, although i would like to see sulik in power armor, or have my leather squadron fire pellets at people, it's not worth starting over for the 5th time this week

Hate to bump an ages-old thread, but since I couldn't find anything through searching I reckon it's better than creating a new topic.

Is the npc_appearances_killap patch compatible with the final release of killap's unofficial patch? If it isn't, where would I find a tutorial that teaches me how to edit the scripts related to NPCs wearing armor? It would be nice anyhow to be able to select which armor shows up on a party member when he puts it on, instead of having everyone running around wearing the same thing (powered armor aside).

So, the npc appearance mod (just a version of the b-team mod I made to work with my patch) is not compatible with my latest 1.02.25 release. Since a lot of people like the b-team mod, I should probably update my version of it again. Give me some time.

(1) That's terrific, especially since I was just about to go through my regular yearly replay.

(2) Any word on that script tutorial, anyone?
