I'm trying to play a non-combat character who has to rely on her party to handle all of the combat situations for her. Since I couldn't control my party members, its been a lot of, 'watch and hope...'
Very rarely did Cassidy block a doorway in New Vegas. In FO2, I don't even -need- companions to block doorways for me; the town NPCs seem to handle that just fine. (Maybe I'm just unlucky, but it happened so often in the Den, I burst fired through a townie three times to vent my anger. Loaded game after, of course).
I guess I'm alone in my style of gaming. I prefer fights to be very difficult, but with control of the entire party, so it 'feels' like I'm actually playing a tactical game (ie, you get to control all your chess pieces in chess). Like old xcom game, ghost recon shadow warriors, baldur's gate, etc.
Edit: Sorry, n00b question. I don't have restoration project. If I download it, will it mess with my save games at all? I assume it won't.
And that's very funny, because the new 3D Beth Fallout games have the same issue Applause NPCs still clog doorways.
