I just restarted fallout 2 with this mod and I want to make sure I got it to work, what is the earliest thing I can do in game that will let me know it is working?

i can't exit dialogs by pressing zero button. is that a bug or something added on purpose? i don't know if this was mentioned before, i couldn't find anything by searching.

This feature was removed in the RP.
 
After completing quests with orphans, then helping laura kill tyler *ALL* people from den residental area disappeared.

What do?

EDIT---

After restarting the whole game and loading game things looks like get back to work. People magically appeared.

This feature was removed in the RP.

Not for nothing. It could cause some serious bugs, if I'm not wrong (eg. broken quests).
 
French translation ???

Hi and thank you so much for this 2.0 version
I wanted to know if somebody is working on a french translation.
I use to play eng games but i would like to share this 2.0 experience with my friends. There's a huge Fallout community in france, but they don't all understand english ...
Thanx for any answers.



PS: I'd be very interested to participate if a translation is in progress...

Multilingual support will return to the RP in v2.2. I pulled it from 2.0 due to time limitations, etc.

There already is a team and I'm sure they could use the extra help. I'll keep you in mind once I get everything organized for translating.

How's 2.1 coming? Any chance for a weekend release? I'm on vacation from work next week, and I can't think of a better way to spend it than with the RP.

Are the EPA companions robots, animals or people? I must admit I got tired of the EPA after clearing all those mantis and plants... =/



Also... Killap I noticed a bunch of new lines with voices for talking heads and during the ending, were those dialog files in the original game and the producers never used it? >.>

Yeah, I noticed a lot of that too. Gave me the creeps for some reason.
 
Barter bug

I was restarting a game and i m in klamath.
I wanted to sell stuff and i saw that my money doesn't increase.
no problems with v1.2 of rp.
a solution ?

Yep. There were several unused voiced dialogue files for both npcs and the endings.

I don't think I'm going to bother waiting much longer for the pipboy quest log fix. We'll see how things go. I've got several things I need to get done this weekend.

I've never head of this problem. Does this happen with all people who sell stuff?

Keep in mind, that you don't simply drop items to the trader window and get money for it. You have to manually chose what you want for the stuff you try to sell.

I doubt that I am wrong with my guess, that you haven't done this. Sounds banal, but we got a shitload of these "bug" reports with FOnline. :>

Did you put the merchant's money on the bargaining table before hitting the sell button?

I was so ssurprised by all the new stuffs of 2.0 that I forgot this basic rule. :oops:
