This has probably been asked a bazillion times before but I looked around the forums and couldn't find the answer.
Does the restoration project contain your unofficial patch or should I download it separately?
yes it contains the unoffical patch (infact it could be problematic to install the patch with the R.P)

@ sydney_roo
Well that is what I'm trying to do, people really shouldn't complain about some pink pixels in a game that is meant for a mature audience anyway. I will laugh on the day when someone's mum/dad posts here and complains.

@The Regular One:

I think the nude posters actually made the FO2 maps more "alive".

Only problem is, whoever placed them on the maps exagerated, I can completely understand those posters in bars and caravan posts (wich makes them look awesome) but common residences and shops? Especially the San Fran shops, I don' think a Shi would put those posters in their room.

I think they should only appear in bars, caravan posts, miner bedrooms, pervs rooms (Myron) and "adult" places.

Yes, this is basically what I've done for 2.1.

Let's keep this thread on track please. Bugs...

Goddamnit, I started the off topic train and it won't stop!!!

On a more serious note, i still cannot get the primitive village on the map, nor can i get the slaver camp location, even with a completely fresh install of everything :( .

Not really a bug, not really a problem, just annoying and didn't got fixed from d to e versions, the tribe leader from primitive tribe have two similar dialog options, it works normally tough, one makes you ask another question and another makes you leave conversation.

Ok the game always crashes on returning to Primitive Tribe after I get swindled by the merchant. This is extremely annoying. Savegame.
If only you were using the 2e update. That just might make it a bit less annoying for you. ;)

I'm at the EPA, on the first underground floor. I'm trying to fix the generator that is acting up, but I'm having some issues. My repair may be on the low side. I've found that you cannot use tools or a Super Toolkit on the broken generator as you get the standard "That does nothing." Is this generator fixable and what skill level should I have to attempt it? I have Vic with me and he seemingly can't make the damn thing work, either.

[spoiler:cead5e4136]Yes, is fixable, but not yet. Play further and remember this place. [/spoiler:cead5e4136]

search it
2.0 saves will work however due to amount changes it's advisable to start from scratch (some fixes work only when you visit location for a first time)

Actually I think the game will crash on any save where you have the solar scorcher as the proto for that will be changed. Other than that you are correct.

With regards to the whole Broken Hills- already when I just entered the first time everyone congragulated me on a job well done for fixing the mine, including francis (EXCLUDING the people actually related to the quest), which kept saying "Howdy hero!" which made me wanna MURDER him after the 100th time of trying to get a different reply from him. this later jammed my progress on the quest- I can tell marcus about jacob, and about the missing people, but I can't solve the whole francis issue. I had a fresh install of 2.0.2e and a fresh new game after that.

Found an interesting bug. I'm at the Primitive Village and just finished fixing their well when I noticed I was overloaded... by a significant factor. Somehow along with the normal reward, they decided to tip my good work with a few chunks of "rock" from a collapsed star.

I'm so glad Fallout 2 doesn't have an advanced physics system... Bad things would be happening otherwise.

I think i had the same bug. I was able to solve the mine problem, but later i couldn't confront francis about the missing people and i didn't bother to report this because Killap has released a patch dealing with a francis issue and whatnot since then i assumed this has been fixed.

Hi new here, I found this place a few days ago, as I wanted to play Fallout 2 again, managed to find this place and this awesome mod, fully patched to latest version, the reason Im posting is I think I have a problem,, but not sure if its a bug or not, (and PS thanks for this awesome mod by the way, it really does make a lot of differences and makes FO2 a very different and far better game :D )

anyway, Im now in MODOC, and I have accepted a quest from Grisham to protect his brahmin at midnight from many angry dogs, I have seen two problems with this quest, first accepting it, doesn't add it into the pipboy MODOC quest log, the other thing is, and very annoying, is that when the dogs come, they aren't red / hostile, (until they start attacking the brahmin directly, however, there is another problem with this, I have two NPC's with me, vic and Sulik, the problem is, they don't seem to attack the dogs, Vic is a coward and in a couple of trys, seems to attack the brahmin, so I fail the mission, (and nothing in the mission log either way)

is this a bug or intended? as the dogs should be the enemy, and should if closing in, should be marked as the targets, not the brahmin, unless I have messed up something? but Vic isn't that great, even though it has combat armour and a shotgun, but even so, Sulik doesn't seem to attack that much either, any help on how to successfully do this mission? as for me, I had a magnum revolver, and going for a third try with Sulik with a SMG, don't know if it will help or not

thanks in advance
