Fallout 2 RP 2.3.3 with 1.5 Resurrection?

Hi. Firstly, I'm pretty new to the whole FO modding thingy so please be gentle!

Secondly, I have the obligatory "stupid question"...

I have FO2 installed along with the Restoration Project mod. I haven't played it yet as I want to finish playing through FO1 first. However, I just found out about FO 1.5 Resurrection and now I fancy playing that next instead of the original FO2.

My question is this - Can I install Resurrection alongside FO2 and still have both games playable or does 1.5 overwrite FO2 files and the like rendering it unplayable? Should I just create a new installation of FO2 for a 1.5 install?

Sorry if this 'silly' question causes eye rolling. Please remember I'm new to all this.

You can install both RP and FO1.5 in the same Fallout 2 directory. Because FO1.5 uses its own subfolder, its files don't get mixed with RP.
