Fallout 2 Tips?

^ Yep. It's in the vanilla game, but a bit unintuitive, since you have to drop the meat on the grund from the inventory, and it only works in combat (the baiting, not the dropping).

I did some playtesting for phbos' mod traps, and we made it work even smoother. You drop the meat on the ground, and the gecko's prioritize it over any other targer (guess their stomach is bigger than their brain). We made the basic spike traps work sinergistically with this allready present function, and since it only worked in combat (the attraction), phobos made it work outside of combat too (so you can in thery sneak somewhere where they "patrol" trap up the place and leave some jerky / iguana on a stick and they'll get themselves all messed up, provided you'r tras is high enough).

Since the tweaks were applied for this version, I PM'd him to try to make it even more intuitve for the next, so using meat from hand on a trap works the same as dropping it, to reduce clicks needed. Phobos allready made it also work the same for mole rats and cheezy poofs, but it's a bit trickier to execute since they're big enough to steal the poofs from far enough to not trigger the trap.

Klamath so much better now ^^

I also think you can bait humans w various drugs, not sure if in vanilla, but in any mod where NPC's had been adjusted to pick stuff up. They should probably go for stimpaks if injured enough.
