Fallout 3 and a couple of mirrors

Now that's just silly.
Besides, he must be getting pretty sick. That'd be a fourth Fallout game he has to read for.

I know he never recorded anything or talked seriously about price, but I can't remember if he was contacted at all about VB. Anyone?

He wasn`t, that part was supposed to be in the last stages of production, but they were hoping to get him, or at least thinking about it. This info is on a mail you once send me kumquat, by the way. :)

Hey! we're making progress faster than anyone could have tought! Thats great, if we can show them we're not actually rabid, i'm sure we could have some input on how the game eventually turns out.

Oh, and i second the request for the guy saying "but war, never changes" on the opening.

Actually, its "war... war never changes" but youre still right though. Without this phrase Fallout doesnt feel like Fallout.

Oh, one thing..

AI - I swear to god, if an Ian type character shoots me in the back with a combat shotgun, I'm going to go postal.

Ian doesn't shoot you in the back because of AI. He shoots you in the back because he's a piss poor shot and one of the best parts of Fallout's combat is Friendly Fire. If you don't like getting shot in the back, don't let lousy shots in your party.

The best tactic to do when you're fighting a large group with Ian is to get the hell away from him. Totally ditch his ass and fight somewhere else. Give him a 14MM pistol so you can hear him firing it to know he's still kicking. He can handle himself in most areas that aren't Supermutant Centrals or Deathclaw Dens because of the AI, but he's still a poor shot.

The Rewards Of Replay

The Rewards Of Replay

Maybe I'm blending FO with FO2: As the NPC's increase in abilities the 'friendly fire' diminishes.

Meanwhile, the PC, in the best armor possible, maneuvers FIRST, to spread out the fire line and keep all those 'friendly' lines of sight from overlapping. The PC attracts the enemy AI's attack, (were they scripted to attack the strongest or just the PC?) The NPC's take fewer hits, and your posse is preserved.

Improving the outdoor skill seemed to allow more room to manoeuver.

14mm love, or "Travels with Tandy".

Did a FO replay when found the hint that Tandy will arm herself with the 14mm. Have to pick pocket her knife before she's taken by the raiders. Abuse of the save option allows this possibility even with a low theif skills.
Conversation is limited, kind of like having a talking Dogmeat.
An in the barter economy an extra 'mule' is bottlecaps in the bank. Might want to take her home if she keeps finding interesting ways to die. If you don't get her home before the last reel, she'll be MIA and presumed dead in the final montage.
So for the good of the NCR make that last trip to Shady Sands.

Beau Gest

Creating universal access to the old Interplay FO and FO2 pages is a brilliant way to "" fly the flag "" and maintain the persistance of vision.
All reference materials freely exchanged will aid in continuing the FO Saga.

Ron is a lot like David Warner (both Fo1 voices). While both of them have enjoyed a certain success on film or on stage, both of them also enjoy working as voice talent. That goes the same for many of the people who voiced on the Legacy of Kain series (excellent voice acting, even if it's made annoying in the first one). Charlie Adler, another Fo1 voice, is mainly featured in cartoons like Cow & Chicken.

Many actors do voice talent to buffer a bit of their spending account, or just for adding a bit of fun to a game. Michael J. Fox is doing a lot of work in animation and from what I hear, he's working voice talent for a game.

Bruce Campbell, the king of cheese, baby, does part of the voice narrative of Spider-Man 2, for many reasons. The love of the setting is one of them, but it could be that he's Sam Raimi's bitch. :P

Voice acting for games is a lesser known aspect of Hollywood talent pooling, right under cartoon voice acting, but it is often looked upon fondly because they and their kids like playing the games, too. It wouldn't be hard to imagine Ron Perlman as a Fallout fan. After all, he's worked in a number of odd roles, including City of Lost Children, Aliens 4, Hellboy, and a few others. He does like the genre of both setting and I believe gameplay of Fallout, though I haven't heard any concrete information to the effect of the latter.
