Dac got word that Je posted a thread in the SomethingAwful forums about an Fallout 3 article in PCGamer, here's the article scanned:

Well now...wonder where they got the idea that Fallout 3 is in production..

At the bottom of the picture in the bottom right, we have the caption:

"In the sequal Fallout 2, he wandered all over the SouthWest before leading a revolt on an enslaved island."

*cough* He means the oil rig, right?

That was an oil rig? </sarcasm>...
hehe..nice mistake he made there, almost had me fooled..

I wonder if that would be a leaked article since I've got the July magazine on my lap (yearly subscriber) and I can't find any mention at all. That article's written by Steve Klett, PC Gamer's RPG fanatic, but normally, Klett's stuff is only devoted to a column's worth of space. Then again, PC Gamer is often fickle on their delivery time. Sometimes, I'll get my monthly mag five days after the month has began or sometimes I'll get two mags in one month.

Yea I got my August issue like July 3rd or so. I never understood how that works... But yea, I'll keep my eyes out for the article in the next issue... IIRC they mentioned 4 big game announcements in the next issue, that could be one of them?

Okay, I just got my September issue (though its about a week before it'll turn September) and the said article covers the basic thoughts of every Fallout fan: outrage over a console Fallout having priority over Fallout 3, held breaths and crossed fingers in hope that Van Buren *is* Fallout 3, whimpers for the departure of Mr. Avellone, and thoughts of lining up the employees of Interplay against a wall and shooting 'em.

You know, the basic stuff.

Gunslinger when are you going to get us that article on Computer Games that talked about NMA and DAC?

I've still got it, *sir*, but I don't have a scanner. Now that you've reminded me, I can just hop over to my cousin's place and use his scanner. I'll e-mail it to you promptly once I've got it (probably by this weekend).

I've just got my September issue of PC Gamer, and that article is in there. Why would anyone take the time to make up a forgery of it? Take a very close look at the image and you will see the dithering technique is the same in it as the magazine.

One other issue, is that Since Steve Klett obviously checks out this website, don't you think he and PC Gamer might get a little ticked off about the scan? That's not a good way to treat PC Gamer for making an article covering Fallout. It's like stabbing them in the back.

Actually we putting the article gave them publicity, so they shouldn`t be very unhappy AdamG. Anyway he left PcGamer now, i don`t think he will care much.

If they had a problem with it, they could always email us. Our email adresses are located on the main page..

actually our emails are no longer on the main page. I removed it. I'll make a new page with form to mail us.

I don't know about you guys but I started receiving tons of spam after I placed those links

Well... After Odin set me up with the nma addreass I started getting mails for help with Shogun: Total war... It's pretty wierd actually.
