I absolutely hate difficulty sliders. If you can't figure out how to beat a game, then you need to not play it.

I disagree.

When it comes to FPS you're eye/twitch skills are quite important, I have definatly gotten worse over the years, and i don't think we want to limit such games to a smaller audiance when a slider is very effective at giving all sorts of difficulty levels.

In other words, stop being a gaming snob.

It'd be like the Black Knight from Monthy Python and the Holy Grail...

That's not a bad idea for an Easter Egg though.

As much as I like the idea, I think Fallout has had enough Monty Python references to last 10 franchises.

Hmm... Well he seems to indicate that his accuracy suffered greatly from far away, it was just when he was up close that he was deadly with his pistol.

There is the question of the inacuracy of your foes, but who knows how that will end up scaled.

As for the emptiness, many demos started you out with a mostly barren and empty world from the original. (Arcanium comes to mind..Lionheart would to if it didn't suck so horribly....)

Though many have indicated running into random merchants.

I would bet there is a limited number of very low level enemies in the demo and few if any encounters.
