Fallout 3 Classic Music Mod [Download here]

Can somebody post the tracklisting and what songs go in which folders (ie. combat, public, explore, etc) so that those of us who already own the soundtracks can copy them over.

Isn't it better to shape that to your personal prefferences? Exactly what I did. Though I would love if kids at Beth wouldn't have decided that it is necessary to have "battle music". At least STALKER Clear Sky, when introduced that, left the option to turn it off.

I did this "mod" as well and just decided that some of the Half-Life/Half-Life 2/Portal music can also be very fitting for wandering/dungeons, as the more ambient tracks make me feel extremely hopeless.

Does anyone have a description of which music folder gets played when for this game? I'm not sure what "Public" means, as opposed to "Explore," among other things.

Its great the developers kept the music files in mp3 format, so they can simply be replaced by any music files you want. Even your favorite Madonna Songs. Copy and rename files is all.

The Soundtrack for Fallout 1+2 was done by Mark Morgan, one of my favorite game music-pieces. So I just took the best Tracks and replaced some in Fallout 3, since I like Jeremy Soule's Music too. The battle music was pretty disturbing, so I took some nice Tracks from the "Thief III - Deadly Shadows" and placed them in 'Base' and 'Battle' folders.

Wonderful way to improve the atmosphere even further, just customize your music! Thanks Bethesda!

Well...you can customize your music in every game. Bethesda would proudly lock it if they could.
