I tried playing a bit with a pirated copy but i can't get used to its gameplay. I've never played anything like it ( i'm a bit new to gaming myself ) . But i am curious about its story, so i would like to start enjoying it. I chose individual turn based to get a classic fallout vibe, though it might be making the game slower than it's supposed to be. Which combat mode were you guys using ?

It took me quite a long time to not automatically consider the original deathclaws as NOT hairy. There is not an unlimited amount of details that you can put on those sprites.

The changes were more than just a slight, cosmetic adjustment. It was almost a redesign than just an 'update'.

Just google Deathclaw and check out the images.

The originals are much more reptilian and has a hunched back. On the other hand,Tactics version is much more mammalian in terms of having fur, upright stance and other humanoid features.

EDIT: Overall, Tactics was a temporary fix in our desire for a proper sequel. A great deal of its flaws was acceptable for me as it did not try to play itself off as part of the originals. Instead, we got a hybrid spinoff of Fallout meets Jagged Alliance.
