Fallout 4 1.3 update hits console and PC

Basically. I don't even want Obsidian to waste their time with the shit now. They could be making a new IP that doesn't suck. It really has gotten to that point. The irony on the 84 score is classic. It truly is an example of Karma at work. :)

I love New Vegas but you can see how far off course Bethesda has steered the ship. It might be too late to get it back on track.
I would say it's like the Titanic at this point, the ship has already hit the iceberg and is currently in the process of sinking while the once loyal Bethesda fans are starting to jump ship while it sinks.

It baffles me that some people can defend the game and give Bethesda a free pass. Even the Season Pass is shady...

Well when they said something along the lines of "we don't know what's going to be in it yet" you'd think people would avoid it until more information was given about the contents in it. If I were to be the kind of person to purchase something like that I would atleast want to know what was in it first before going all nilly willy with my money.

When I bought the Season Pass, I fully trusted Bethesda to make good DLC. I loved both Dawnguard and Dragonborn, I loved the Morrowind expansions, and so forth. I even liked Point Lookout a lot because of the whole "Southern" theme going on, considering I am Southern. Wearing a Confederate hat, coveralls, quoting the Bible with a woman armed to the teeth with guns, and making Moonshine with a crazy lady in a shed made me feel right at home. The only DLC of their's I didn't like was Oblivion's 20 million house DLCs and Mothership Zeta was also pretty meh though I liked the companions.

Little did I know how much Fallout 4 was going to destroy my trust and love of Bethesda eh? It's too bad I preordered both the game and the Season Pass back in September or I'd return them both in a heartbeat. Now it's too late. :c

Obsidian should make their own new post apocalyptic franchise from scratch, and show once again that they can come up with something new that is better than what is being done to old loved franchises.

I even have the setting for them if they want me to donate my ideas for free:
  • Donald Trump would become USA President
  • Donald Trump would start WW3
  • The USA would get bombed from all sides
  • The world is still functioning perfectly except the USA which is a wasteland now
  • Without the USA North Korea invades South Korea with help from China (their allies)
  • Without USA Russia starts invading more countries around it
  • Without USA South American drug cartels lose most of their income sources and start fragmenting and cartel wars spread like wildfire
  • Without USA global economy collapses
  • After a few decades most of the planet is just a ravaged war destroyed world
  • Most surviving settlements are ruled with an iron grip by war lords and their armies
  • Australia remains the same... an already natural wasteland full of deadly creatures
I call this a Post-Trumpocalypse game.

Sorry I couldn't resist

You, I like you.

Hell, I'm a Conservative and I can't stand any of the current candidates running for president right now. Not a single one of them. They're all scumbags, with Bernie Sanders being the least scumbaggy I guess.

I'm still not sure how that got past testing. If they even tested this game or just shoved it out the door and said to hell with it. I mean that's at the beginning of the game!

It probably didn't got past testing, the problem these days is that companies release bugged games even when they have a giant list of bugs found by their testers.

It is very easy to find articles and posts online of testers and ex-testers complaining about stuff like that, that no one takes them serious in the company, they are seen and treated as lesser beings, pushed to finish their testing in record time so the game can get the green light to be released on the announced release date, games being released when many of the bugs found were purposely not fixed because the programmers had "better things to do".

A couple of interesting readings about it:

Donald Trump

You've reminded me to bring up something.

Robert S. Trump, who is Donald Trump's brother, is actually one of the directors for ZeniMax, who owns Bethesda Softworks and by proxy, Bethesda Game Studios. An interesting little tidbit, even if I don't actually know anything about Robert Trump specifically because he went and hid from the social scene because of a divorce or something.
