Fallout bargain bin collections

I was at MediaMarkt today, which is like a big friggin' shop full of electronics and electrics, and I was lucky enough to stumble upon a collection of the first three Fallout games. Which I immediately bought because it was only €5. This isn't the first collection of the old games that I stumbled upon and bought. It's the third one and I was wondering how many of these are around. The three collections I've managed to find and buy so far are these:

The second one is sorta funny because one of the screenshots isn't from Fallout at all, but - I think - from Baldur's Gate.

Any of you guys know of other bargain bin collections? And do post a scan of the cover "art" if you can. I like.

I think the second one was at my local Wal-Mart (now you definitely know I'm American), but I don't think it had the multiple languages on the back.

I got a different one at my brother's house! Like the second one, it's advertised as 'trilogy'. Oh, the controversy! :P

Will scan it if I remember.

I found another budget bin edition just an hour ago!

It's similar to one of the above versions, but this one comes on 5 cd-roms.
It's probably wiser to buy the White Label dvd version though, because that version includes the FOT extras and the cd-rom version doesn't.

I wonder how much money Interplay makes from these releases…the desperate bastards.

Here's my copy of the games - distributed in Czech Republic and also Slovak republic. (8€, damn!)
Hm, also some unofficial content is included on this DVD. For example: High Resolution patches (Mash); unofficial patches for FO1/FO2 (TeamX, Killap); sfall (Timeslip)..

Nar, Timeslip complained to Interplay about their use of Sfall, and they (Chris Taylor) apologized. So it was packaged in their official release, which is pretty sneaky.

But they aren't allowed to do this, due to Bethesda and their pact. So keeping on selling this all together, could harm them a lot.

Maybe it's some bootleg version then.
Hm, I don't think so, Lexx. Look, there is part of attached, printed publication - end user license:

It's distributed under the Bethesda Softworks license; in our official e-shops and via the local distributing group CENEGA.

It wasn't a 'they (Chris Taylor) apologized' so much as 'Chris Taylor apologized for not being able to get them to apologize'. Chris couldn't even get them to admit that they'd included third party content; all his e-mails on the subject were apparently just ignored. (Possibly for the reason lexx stated, if they'd admitted it they would have basically admitted breaching their licence to redistribute fallout. Not to mention their gpl breach.)

I was trying to get a list of which distributions included which 3rd party stuff at one point, but there's just too many different versions around to manage. I know old (pre bethesda buy out) copies of the trilogy include an older version of killaps patch without sfall or the res patch, (presumably because neither had been released at that point. :P) the steam version includes a newer patch and sfall, but apparently not the res patch, new english copies of the trilogy include all three, but the GoG version of fallout 2 doesn't seem to include any 3rd party stuff even though their copy of fallout 1 does.

So you mean they never even asked you if they can release your work?
yup, and worse, in some versions they even stripped out all the readme's/credits from the 3rd party stuff. That's the reason sfall doesn't have an option to not show its version on the title screen, and why it hijacks fallouts own credits now.

Whoa, I'd be pissed. You've put a lot of work into that shit - the least they could do it leave the fucking readme! :seriouslyno:

(piss, shit & fuck in one post to express my anger)
