Fallout Bible --- The End?

mcdonie

First time out of the vault
I know with the fall of Interplay and the FOB author now with another company the likelyhood of any new chapters in the Fallout BIble are slim....

But I was wondering if their was any further word on this issue. Is 9 going to be the last issue of the FOB?

Let's see, MCA is at another company, Fallout is owned by Bethesda, IPLY is dying..so yes, unless Bethesda wants to make more Bibles it's dead..

Well, if that is the case, why doesn't some little computer wizard make a compilation of all 9 issues?
One big text.
The Fallout Bible (complete & unabridged)
That way I could go to the Xerox shop around the corner and have them print it out for me and make a nice book out of it, which I can cherish until the day I die.
Just a thought.
Tried doing that once myself, but pdf screwed up my good intentions.
No 1337 skills alas...

That is exactly what I was doing
I have a huge book of FOB, and the walkthrough by "per"

I was just curious if their had ever been any word from the author about future editions or if anything had ever been said.

I suppose using Acrobat and OOo one could just put them together into one file, maybe merge the issues into one.

...

Now if I had some spare time on my hands...

Sorry for bringing up a old thread but is someone doing this? I would kill for a full updated bible without all the repeated timelines and such. I would like to print it out also.

Please find this...for I have never read of the Fallout Bible, and I would surely wish to hear the good word...

ahhhhhhhh!!!!

Ok maybe i should explain better. I already downloaded that one, but i don't feel like printing out 250 pages of stuff when a lot of that shit in there was repated with minor modifications(like the timelines). I was about to go crazy reading it. What I want is a fallout bible that isn't all over the place. I know it probably holds sedimental value to a lot of people but the whole thing needs to be reorganized. The most updated timeline, The q%a in one section, Blah Blah Blah. Ok i'll quit ranting because nobody probably has reworked the damn thing. I probably will in the next couple of days for my own piece of mind. Thanks Anyway.

While I AM lazy...I went to the actual Fallout Bible site and it refused to download it, so there.
So? That doesnt' justify immediately giving up and being arrogant enough to ask other people to go through the trouble of finding something for you without you looking any further than the official site. You could've just looked in NMA's Download section and you would've immediately seen it, but instead you decided to not even bother to take those five seconds to check whether it was there before asking.

Ah, didn't even know I desired to have something like this until I read the thread. Thanks guys, makes sorting through those obliquely-named Bibles a little less daunting (though there's still a ton of information to sift through to find whatever it is you're looking for). The Fallout bibles are excellent, but looking through them all I had no idea that there were 254 pages between them...man. So much goodness, especially that timeline. It brings back the day when I first fell in love with those air-raid sirens that served as ambient noise for Fallout. Nostalgia supreme.
