Fallout "celebs"

Stock

Still Mildly Glowing
Don't know if some of these classify as "celebreties", but here goes.

Ron Perlman(Hell Boy & some other stuff) - Narrator, all Fallout games.

Kurtwood Smith (That 70's show) - General Decker, FoT

R Lee Hermey (Full Metal Jacket) - General Barnaky, FoT

These are all I can think of right now, maybe you can think of a couple of more we can add..

Dude, the guy who did Rhombus in Fallout 1 also does Mr. Krabs on Spongebob? What the fuck? And the guy who did Arderish is the guy from Monk?

Although I remember recognising Richard Dean Anderson when I heard Killian, and also Michel Dorn (Warf from Star Trek - The Next Generation) when I heard Marcus and Frank Horrigan.

Wow! I've been playing the game for years and didn't even get it.

I did always like the narrator's voice, who didn't? But (*that*) Ron Perlman? I'm a bit surprised. Actually, I got to like this guy after watching "The Name of the Rose" movie a few years ago.

The Ink Spots .... Song, 'Maybe' (as The Inkspots)
Good to know, who played it. Maybe I'll check a store and pick up some record (the song was cut out in my version).

That song "Maybe"...even though I have all the Fallout games (except POS), I don't think I've even heard it...maybe I have a different version of F1..

You mean the intro with the tv-set with the "corvega" commercial, with the skyline in the background? None at all, actually.

Yeah, THAT intro.

And the outro with The Vault Dweller walking in the wasteland..

Hmm... it's weird. I would say you have a pirated version, but then you shouldn't have the cut-scenes either.

Edit: Really, you should do something about it. The ending of Fallout with that song playing in background is probably the best ending from all the games I've played.

You may have the version from a magazine (as me), where "Maybe" was replaced by The Glow theme. Don't ask me why, I'm sure the CD has enough room to hold it.

That's correct. I got it from a magazine. I do have the original F1 disc also, but it was included in a F1 + F2 double pack. Needless to say, I didn't pay much attention to said disc, because I'd already played the first game enough to grow tired of it and focus all my attention to F2 instead.

Oops..I guess this topic has gone a bit...off-topic.
