Fallout Imbalance and Logical issues thread.

In Fallout 2, is strange how the villagers of Arroyo, the descendants of a vault a place that would have the best education in the post-nuclear world, became a tribal society in a span of 80 years compared with the habbitants of Shady Sands, which became a rural village 90 years after the war.

My largest issue with the "magic" weapons in FO4 is their tendency to cause splash damage. I'm sure you can understand that when you pull out a shotgun with "exploding magic derp" in a close quarters scenario suddenly becomes unwise and down right useless for the guns basis of design.

I honestly cannot fathom a guess as to while everything was simplified. It's as if the entire game was dumbed down for some 10 year old...

Gonna say one from Fallout 1.

One handed guns were very, very shit in most cases, the 10mm SMG eclipsed even the 14mm due to how the AP system worked.

But then came along the .223 handgun...

Somehow this little cut-down rifle is a better weapon than the Sniper Rifle, AND it has the armour penetration perk.

So that little .223 (which, by the way, is basically a 5.56mm round) somehow can penetrate more armour than the PLASMA RIFLE.
