Fallout MMO news picked up by other sites

Gamespot, Next Gen and Slashdot picked up on the Interplay Fallout MMO story we covered earlier (for the guys reporting this "news" to us; we didn't miss it, we just beat the other guys by two weeks).

The later news sites did notice something amusing we missed, namely the "CONFIDENTIAL" stamp on the public filings. Odd, that.

More importantly, there was also this:
Starting on December 1, 2006 and through December 15, 2006, Interplay Entertainment Corp. will give a slide show presentation during meetings with various European qualified investors.
Today's the day. We'll report if any news flows in on success or failure from Interplay, but we might have to wait the weekend to see.

Stock's dropping again. Half of two weeks ago.

Depending on the news they might zip up or plummet further.

you cant be serious...

that's not a presentation, that's a bunch of crap packed together by a 10 year old that isnt even competent at doing some research and certainly isnt competent enough to follow the general rules of a presentation.

(on second thought, yeah, that fits Herve quite well)

anyhow, this is kinda of a reassurance, since any investor that investigates a few things mentioned in that craptic presentation can see it's full of lies. (and hence wont invest)

You guys should have a news post clearly specifying that NMA doesn't support this FOOL idea, for any potential investor to verify how much the loyal fanbase supports it...

They showed this on a swedish game site, the interesting part was that the majority in the forums was positve and said that they would absolutly buy it. But of course some mentioned that Herve is a douchebag.

Nah, I don't like posts like that, plus we do have a few scattered readers who don't mind the idea.

But it's clear enough from our earlier newspost:
But thanks for the recognition, 350k people strong and we all really hate FOOL!

I was blown away at how much positive feed back was on the slashdot site.. It almost made me vomit. But from all the ones I've read.. I don't think there all praising the idea.. Just hopeful like me.

Good? Hell no, Fo:PoS got scores ranging from awful to mediocre. And you have to remember that you have to subtract 2 points from gaming review scores because they're always kissing ass, so mediocre is actually bad, and awful is just ungodly.

Oh, now that I subtract those two points I see what you mean.

By good score I meant above seven out of ten. I got this from Metacritic, by that i meant that the mainstream sites gave it above seven. All sites, that are not massive powerhouses full of kids that all want to call themselves SePHiroth 1342 on the forums, gave it "I WANNA GOUGE OUT MY EYES" score.

Wow, Herve's asshole must be really sore with all that BS he just yanked out of it.

And here I was thinking you had already applied for the position of lead developer on the Fallout MMO, Puuk.
