Fallout modding wiki opened

In a Machiavellian move to take over even more of the internet with his nefarious network of wikis, Ausir opened a Fallout modding wiki. Which is great, because centralized and complete documentation is non-existent for Fallout mods. Go and edit it!

I'd like this wiki to serve as:

1) a place for documentation of Fallout editors (and hopefully the Fallout 3 construction set), Fallout file formats and modding techniques
2) a database of Fallout mods, both the available ones and those in construction
3) a place where modders who don't want to set up their own wikis can collaborate on their projects
4) a database of available assets like sprites etc. that can be used by modders in their mods

No sequel will be born of the wiki alone, but it definitely might help existing and future mods.

BTW, I've been asked why I don't just make a modding corner in The Vault itself - well, I just don't want to have articles for dozens mods and other such non-canon material in the main wiki, the primary goal of which is to document the Fallout canon, and I think a separate, more focused wiki will be better for this job.

I think it's a good idea :-) congratulations Ausir.

We'll see if it'll work out but I'm quite confident that it'll do so. At least we can point people who are interested in Fallout modding to this one place now; I hope that leads to some contributions to support Ausir as well :-)
