Fallout Modification Tools

FVP INI Maker and Fallout2Patcher have been added to the tools page. I like the GUI on these. Andy, you really need readme files for them though. Do you have documentation on where in memory all of these things are patched? I have some of that info, but not all, would like to add it to my FAQ.

I have all of the hex offsets, so I'll post them asap (don't have them at the minute).

Also note that the fallout2patcher program doesn't patch the exe in memory, only the exe file. You might want to move it to the other section

Working on it, just post things like this in the web site forum next time.

edit: everytime I download it, it gets corrupted.. could someone email it to me.

I did a file compare on this version of DatRepairer with the one I had. They are the same. So the one on my tools page is okay, and that's also the one I emailed to Odin recently to update the NMA download section (because the one there was corrupt).

While on the topic, I wish I had a command line dat packer, that would simply make a dat out of a directory tree. Right now making dats is a real PITA. We have tons of unpackers but few packers, and those require a lot of fiddling to add files. I wish I could just do something like this: makedat mymodname.dat c:\mymodname.dat

If you find any errors, newer versions of tools, or tools that I don't have listed, please let me know.
On my web-page there is a list of fallout utils known to me. It's in Russian, but program names in English only. Check it.
