Fallout New Vegas day 2024

Apparently MCA or Sawyer said they mess a bit with Colorado River because scale it perfectly would create problem (in gameplay and size)
Cottonwood Cove is really Cottonwood because on its other side of the river you have Carp Cove and in game that is Lakelurk Cove, an unmarked location that has plenty of Lakelurks.
I took a closer look at a map and it turns out Cottonwood Cove is a real place and its location in the game is accurate. Cottonwood is a small city between Flagstaff and Phoenix, unrelated to Cottonwood Cove.

I follow them on Twitter and Instagram, happens a lot there all year round. Besides that, they seem like great people.

The fact that the folks at Pioneer Saloon are willing to host these kind of events, is just flipping awesome & heartwarming!

:ok:
It's ultimately money that talks, afterall Covid 19 make dent in their business. It was 2022 and suddenly, someone who is a youtuber suggest another event that can make your middle of nowhere ghost town Saloon being more profitable.

Although it must be chaotic to handle 500 visitors when normally they would just have few dozens or around that.

Dosh is a great motivator - indeed.

Fallout New Vegas Day is an annual event hosted at the real Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings, Nevada, November 16-17th. I've combed the web to find some of the better images and posted them here. Hopefully, you'll enjoy it!:ok:

Wait, isn't that the guy who directed Nuka Break Series? (Also one of main character actor) What if we get another series after all this sudden spike of interest in FNV? (And Fallout of course, thanks to the new tv showes)

That sure is him! I wouldn't say no to more Nuka break, but who knows what he's up to now?
Several years ago, Wayside decided to try and crowd-fund a full-length movie entitled "Legend of Grimlock" through Kickstarter.
The Kickstarter succeeded, but the "investors" at G&S immediately took their money back once the Kickstarter ended, plus interest. This "interest" was the rest of the money that was donated towards the Kickstarter by other backers.

So now Wayside Creations is owned by Geek & Sundry, and the original creators/actors of Wayside have decided to step down from the studio.
Since then, Wayside has made a shoe commercial for Converse and has sent out an e-mail claiming the original creators of Wayside are spreading "false information."

I believe the original trio creators tbh. It's the same pattern, when a fun, passionate, fan project get too successful, the "top management" always ruined it by trying to reek as many profits as possible.
