I really love the ambient music you can hear, straight out of Fallout 1/2.
Must resist watching....arrrghhhhh!
Whelp, time to stop watching now. On one of the pre-recorded streams he made it to Freeside and I stopped watching as soon as he went into the Strip.
Freeside in itself looks really good I think, feels very run-down or "slum-like", kinda like the Den or New Reno in terms of the run-down feel of it. Excellent audio as well.
Biggest disappointment was that the dude took out like 4 or 5 of the "Securitron Gatekeepers" (who were guarding the entrance to the Strip) without any real problems. They're really slow to shoot it seems, and while they took a real beating, the damage they were dishing out was very low. Lame.
Could be because the main quest is scaled. I'll be pretty much spend the most time exploring the wasteland and wait for a mod that removes the scaling completly.
Yeah, but it looked... pitifully easy. He didn't eve have to heal afterwards, the only real loss was a bunch of ammo. And if the player had been clever enough to use ammo that would punch through their armor it would've been even easier.
Perhaps there is some difference in difficulty from the Securitrons in Freeside vs the ones that actually patrol the Strip. I was kinda hoping that these guys would be among the more difficult foes around.
I feel your pain ...
Could just be playing on easy. We are talking about a consoler afterall.
How do I reduce the quality, so it'll load faster?
I'm (Barely) watching some of the videos, he changed the HUD color to green, feels like watching a Fallout 3 walkthrough, but that's a good thing...
I wait until he'll go to a Vault... Kill me if u want, but I cant wait to explore the vaults!!!!!!
Yeah I want to explore for myself and not look at some stoopid pirating kiddie spoiling the fun for me :/
think I just saw a wounded animation.
guy was playing and walking and hobbling around funny.. used something called a fixer and started walking normal.
Don't think he is on Hardcore mode, so I am assuming he was wounded.
ok nvm he is playing hardcore.
But apparently fixer removes an addiction and addictions can show up in how you walk and such.
