Fallout: New Vegas Patch Changelog Released

Weapon repair kits can no longer repair a weapon to 100%? That's crap. So what's the best we get? 90%? 95%? Do we have to hire it done?

AFAIC, if your repair skill is high enough and you've got the kits, you should get the 100%.

Most people who can repair stuff can't even repair to 100%, weapon repair kits don't either now? How are we supposed to repair unique weapons like the holorifle now?

I know. The only one I can think of that might is Raul. But I never carry him as a companion. And I wouldn't want to have to go to someone every time I want to fix my item. Whose bright idea was that one? I might have to remove JE from my Facebook friends for this.

Sawyer said already that it's repairing to 99,9% now, because 100% was buggy.

Exactly, it makes sense:

That entry is a bit misleading. It will repair the weapon to 99.9% CND. The problem is that the engine treats 100% CND weapons in weird ways and it can cause bugs. Since weapons max out in effectiveness long before you reach 100%, the loss for the player is extremely small

Good to know. Since I only check the Fallout wiki and here for my news I'd have never found that link.

New feature: system save is automatically created prior to endgame sequence. After credits, user is prompted to load save game. This will allow single save players to play DLC without creating a new game.

Talk about reinforcing bad habits, like not reading important information.
