A good Christmas deal is waiting for you over on Steam, where Fallout: New Vegas is 40% off, or 50% off if you already own Fallout 3. 17 hours left as of this writing.

Merry Christmas, guys.

There's also the Bethesda Mega Pack, 55% off (of course, Rogue Warrior is junk).

Oh wow, I hadn't even heard of that game. The IGN review is hilarous:
overwhelming attention was paid to Mickey Rourke's profanity laced commentary, which makes Marcinko seem like a Tourette's afflicted soldier hopped up on adrenaline

It came out of Rebellion Derby (former Tomb Raider devs, those guys had some terrible luck), it was originally being developed by Zombie Studios I believe who lost the game since Bethesda thought they were doing a poor job with it. I think Bethesda had high hopes for the game since they [via press releases] touted it as their return to the FPS genre since Terminator in the 90s (which probably explains why the game didn't fully do third person or anything).

Leaning towards Call of Cthulhu, is it any good? I heard it was really buggy to the point where game ending bugs were easy to encounter.

If you're actually messing with Cthulhu, life-ending bugs are easy to encounter... just think of any bugs you find as part of the experience!

Call of Cthulhu is a pretty good game. It has it's flaws and in various cases, the hardware of your computer decides if you die or not (your character moves faster if the game runs faster), but it's still pretty nice. It starts as a adventure and becomes more and more a shooter later. Can't say that it's a super cool development, but I still found it thrilling.

Looked very interesting but I couldn't play this game due to severe graphical artifacts. (Ati 4890 card)

I would certainly recommend checking out the Steam forums before potentially buying it.

Call of Cthulhu is awesome and features one of the most stressful sequence in videogame history.

Get it, 'nough said.

Got it! Haven't downloaded or installed it yet due to space issues but from what I've read, it should be fine performance wise.

Thanks for all the input!
