Fallout Online Platform

lol i think but either way i think some kind of multi player should be on the consoles but im not creaters nor the editors so i have no say... although i believe it would be a good idea

xbox gamer tag
ajmmorrow

Random posting of gamertag there...

Plus there is already multiple online only games on PS3, MAG which is very popular on PS3 (yet that is a FPS though), Burnout Paradise, WarHawk, there are quite a few on the store, but I never check out, the only online only game I like is MAG, the others just peeve me off.

yea i put my gamertag when i post most times for some reason no idea why but yea and mag is alright but i like greed corp which isnt a shooter game persay but it is kind of like a board game since we are talking about random games o_O

Mortal Kombat's become really popular as well, if Fallout could reach that level where online is something people will remember for ages and continue playing until that server dies away. I know it's an FPS but look at Halo 2, only last year did the server die forever and still a lot of people were still playing despite it's a age and the new releases. Nevertheless, Fallout can only make the awesome single player experience until people gradually become bored of it and don't play it again for a while. So maybe Fallout Online could bring the feeling of continous play but they should express it to more consoles if they are hoping for a large audience, and with kinect on the go; who knows what the makers could be thinking? Well maybe some people do..

I was pointing out successful non-FPS franchises on consoles.

Third person shooters don't count either, Fallout Online is not going to be a TPS or and FPS. Do you know of any "MMORPG"s that have been successful on a console?

You guys realize it's not going to be first person right? First person shooters are the only online games that are ever successful on consoles.

And then i went listed a bunch of games that are not first person shooters but also have successful online components to them, too. And in some cases (Halo, COD, GoW, etc), for some people, the online component is the only component.

Unless you just want MMO's for consoles in which case Final Fantasy XI and Phantasy Star Online.
