    I cannot get falch the fallout save editor to work.

    how do I use it properly?

    I give it the path all the way to interplay/fallout 1/ data/saves

    but then if I hit the "open" button nothing happens.

    can anyone help me? I am on windows ten.

    what file is it that I need to get the program to open?

    Falche doesn't work for more recent versions of game. Or maybe with windows.

    You should use Fallout 1/2 Save Editor by Vad. It's updated.

    I use windows 7. But You don't need windows 7. Many people use win10 here. Should be fine.

    Also you can right click on any executable and check properties. there you can set compatibility level. Depends on your issue.

    You should install UPU or RPU, they should fix most of your problems.

    And use the editor i mentioned.

    If you install UPU or RPU, you should also explore the various ini files they install and tweak settings to your liking. Learn how they work. Will improve your game.

    right on, the Vlad editor actually worked, I can view my save file and change the values I want, however it will not let me save changes.

    \SLOT03\SAVE.DAT.backup" error: No such file or directory

    do I need to create a file called backup in the fallout save file?

    this is the logged reason.

    what do I do?
