'Fallout' short movie inside a shelter (not mine)

Just came across this little youtube jem. Some English folks made a short about four people living in a shelter. I really liked it, seemed really well done overall. You can tell they didn't have much high level equipment but it's a fun little piece and the acting and visuals are really good.

No surprise they were out of penicillin if they used candles and lights like that. The acting is really quite good though.

Yeah, true. It's obviously not perfect, but I think the acting is really good, and I feel like they develop the characters pretty well in such a short amount of time. My only real complaint is that their sound design is kinda crummy, they could have just implemented a few cross fades and volume changes in the ambient noise they added and it would be a lot less obvious that it was added after the fact.

Yeah, but to be fair, it's easy to find a video camera: it's hard to find a good one, or good sound equipment to go with it, without a serious budget. This ain't bad for something that probably cost next to nothing to produce.

holy shit, I'm really loving the camera work, very smooth, sometimes (other times it helps make the scene more dynamic) jerky camera movement can just ruin the atmosphere.
