The Fallout series has soemthing that other games do not, it has a feel that lasts. This is probably one of the only games that has this. What I mean is that it leaves an imprint so that when you hear something smell something, or see something you are reminded of Fallout. I have been listening to a few songs and here are a few that remind me of Fallout.

All the Fallout intros

"California Dreamin'" Mamas and Papas

"On the Road Again" (on Forest Gump soundtrack)

These are all I have found so far, if anybody else has any songs that remind you of Fallout (I am sure there are more out there) please post them.

Skynet Security Systems Logging off....

The song that reminds me most about Fallout (Fallout 2, actually) is "Prizefighter" by Bush. I think it captures the feel of the boxing segment in New Reno, and the whole wandering aspect of the game.

One song that sort of reminds me of Fallout is 1000 Psychic Wars by Blue Oyster Cult. The world described there sounds so desolate and destroyed.

Hell the converted music from Fallout is good too. I've got them all converted to mp3 files in the highest quality setting (256kbs, 44100hz 16 bit stereo). Nothing but the best.

RE: Re: Fallout Songs

Keep sending them in, maybe if we get enough they could make a special section for Fallout related songs,...maybe. Hopefully

But I'm not familiar with copyright laws, so correct me if that's a stupid idea.

By the way, Machine Head by Bush reminds me of fallout.

Well, I have to tell you that when I think of a Fallout TC, the first song that I would like to put in there is California Dreamin!!

Yeah that's a good one...

Have you seen the music video to Do the Evolution? If you don't know, it was made (drawn) by the same artist that draws the Spawn comic. Probably the best music video I've seen.

He doesn't draw spawn anymore though. He did create the comic, but he hasn't drawn a spawn comic in years. He also did the video for Korn's "Freak on a leash".

Yeah, I've seen it....the laughing bonehead in the F-16 was great!!

I hear McFarlane's a jerk to his fans though. He does create some kick ass comics/animation.

Hey do you know where I could download the "Do the Evolution" video? I've only been able to find small clips..

Nope sorry, I stick to mp3s. But I'm sure you will be able to find it on IRC and/or in multimedia newsgroups.

i think the songs that remind me of fallout are like the ones used in the introdutery seqwences kind of smoky and well old or the apacoliplis tipe songs of the sixtys and seventys like the song 2525 or the mash theme song (suiside is painless) fallout wasent realy about the grinding rock-punk it was a satirer of the fiftys and with a dash of the late twentys and early thirtys (maby thats why i love it so much? it makes fun of what i see as the sillyest part of the american history)
