Fallout Tactics all races mod?

Also be careful on the quote piramids. It doesnt really bother me but a lot of people dont like it (including mods and admins ;) )

Three-level one-sentence quotes aren't a problem -- unless the person having the problem has some kind of phobia related to pyramids.
I (mostly) adhere the Usenet standard, which is, in one sentence: quote what you are replying to, leave out what's redundant and mind the size. That's proper netiquette (also more netiquette than some people tend to show) and should suffice.

Not that it would matter in a world where everyone ran at 1600x1200 :) (At home I still use a 15" monitor running 800 x 600)

I got a 19" monitor with a res of 1600x1200 because it lets me read more information more easily and also helps when you're trying to bring order to your porn archives... I mean... archives of ... uhm... y'know, pictures of fluffy bunnies and stuff.
Nah, it's just really useful if you do a lot of coding and work with modular programs (or scripts, for that matter). I prefer my browser only covering half the screen, 1600x1200 allows me to browse most websites without having to go to fullscreen or suffer from horizontal scrolling (maybe with rare exceptions, possibly including company websites).

What most people call a mod, that is, a full modification, was called a "TC" last century (i.e. when people modded StarCraft and modding was not as hip yet)
You yunguns. Modding StarCraft already something of the last century... I'll remind you that we're on a Fallout Modding forum and FO came out in late '97 while StarCraft came out in '99. The first "TC" I remember was a Wolfenstein 3D->Street Fighter 2 one - that's excluding "text-based" (BBS DOORS) conversions though I'm sure it wasn't the first one...

Too fucking complicated to decipher.

Besides... I got a resolution of 1600x1200 so that post was only a couple of lines.
2 screens, both 22", one in 2048x1526, the other in 1600x1200 and I still find pyramidal quoting annoying.

Do you have a bionic eye?
Admittedly my eyes ain't too good, but I recently switched back from 1600*1200 after having problems viewing properly.
And, yes, pyramids are annoying, regardless of how much of your screen they take up.

Not at all, although I admit I have to increase font size in most programs which use a light background with dark text (ie: word, Excel)... But with dark backgrounds it's just fine. If I'm looking at graphics I prefer zooming in and have a huge space to put all the controls on my screen. Similar for code (except then it's to put a bunch of debugging info rather than controls).

My main peeve with my dual screen setup is that when running fullscreen games, my secondary screen windows are offset some... When toying with FO scripts, I like to tail -f the output from FO onto a console window on my second screen, albeit it can only take about half the screen because of that stupid offset. Still it beats having it in the game directly... Wish XP supported my old Hercules monitor as Windows 95 did...

StarCraft came out in 1997, actually. BroodWar came out in 1998. I joined th SC modding community in 1997 and lead a minor TC until 2000. The problem was I came in too late and thus nobody was willing to help anymore.

Pyramidal quoting IS annoying, however I don't have a problem with three levels.
I also once used to have two screens, then one of them broke.

No, but 1600x1200 on a 19" screen are no problem if you're young and have average vision.

Actually I prefer black on white. I don't have any problem with either tho. For graphics I always zoom in up to 16:1 because I'm a pixel pusher (welcome to the 1980s, baby!), not an artist. I got no problem with code tho.

Some websites (Microsoft, for example) have a below xx-small font setting tho, there I'm happy Mozilla has an easy-to-use text-zoom.

What does age have to do with it? :?
I'm only 21, but my eyes have been fubared since I was 14.

Young opposed to old, not to moderate. High age is usually encompassed by decreased vision.

I'm not saying you can't have bad vision as a teenager or even as an infant, but chances to have bad vision raise with your age. At least according to statistics.

Races Mod Question

I just downloaded the Races mod that allows you to start with any of the races in the single player game. Question is where do the files go? Any help would be great.

Thanks in advance
