RE: All not so dumb qs answered.

I'M pretty sure it has a set value across Europe, but is there a french Euro or an germen euro. If no any country could stock pile it and make the other contry beg for it and then crash the economy by releasing it all at once, after more euros are put on the market, thus devaluating the euro.
And if yes, are french euros good in germany? or Italy?

I do know that this has nothing to do with this tread but check my history i have a tendency to do so.

It's one currency, but that sort of action would be political suicide.

RE: All not so dumb qs answered.

Well, with 88/89 american cents you`ll get an Euro. It`s the same currency in the eurozone (12 countries in europe), and you could use it anywhere in those countries, it has the same value and is controlled by an European Central Bank. All the notes are the same in appearence, the coins are different in the back with themes from the respective countries, but have the same value.

Well, check this

Good point about 2 years being a long time, but Im still using my "old" voodoo2 because I get 60 fps on 800X600 while playing multiplayer half-life, which is all I really need... the only game that I have which doesnt agree with my V2 is FO:T, but I do consider myself a connoseur of old games.. Im really hoping that someone will make a port of Fallout3 when its released so I can run it like the old Fallout engines... mmm, they were the days :P

The card is already outdated. For most intents and purposes, it is a 3D card that will suit your needs. If you need a consistent 60FPS in 1024x768x32bit with full vertex shaders, etc. this card is not for you, but for $60, it is a damn good deal for what it does. It is 64 megs, it has all the features of the full Geforce2 cards, and it even has a feature that no other Geforce2 card has: support for two monitors on one card (Twinview). Of course, only select models actually come with two VGA ports, but usually the twinview can be used by attaching a TV to the video out.

It is $60, 64 megs, has a good set of features, and is fast enough to render most games well enough.

Oh yeah, Geforce2 Ultras have dropped in price significantly (like $170) and are actually FASTER than Geforce3 TI 200 (or whatever the low number is. Pic them up quick because they're replacing them with inferior TI models.

Definitely, the Detonator drivers really make the Geforce cards shine.

It really is a shame. I mean back in the days when Video RAM was not plentiful programmers had to use hacks like mid-video-retrace palette swapping to obtain more colors. Now I've got 64 megs of RAM and my AGP bus isn't even fast enough to really make much use of it...

The Euro is now the official currency of Europe and have a set conversion rate for all European currency except the pound.

The Euro is 0.86 to the United States dollar. If you want a good exchange rate site, go to http://www.x-rates.com/ (not a porn site, heh).

That'd be a pretty good war tactic. Of course, who would use the Euro in war, when the USD is the currency of business. Even the Taliban deals in USD, not Rupees or Afghanis.. Must be ironic to be dealing with money that has the faces of notable figures on it from a country you hate. Having some other country's queen on your currency is also pretty comical.
