Fallout TV Series season 2 teaser for a trailer

I don't know about you guys, but I have a strong suspicion that the Fallout show made Vault-Tec the main villain and the ones to nuke the world instead of China in the original lore, probably more so to appease the CCP market, rather than wanting to create a twist. There is also the fact that the show never outright mentions China and just refers to them as "adversaries" if I remember correctly, along with Moldaver saying, "I'm not a communist, Mr. Howard. That's just a dirty word they use to describe people who aren't insane". To not call out communism or the CCP.

possible, they won't confirm that it was china because they are cowards, and because it is amazon, the only escape is "america did it" and it won't make sense anyway, so it either vault tek or china
or maybe they would say it was mr house, just to massacre his character more, this have high chance because it make no sense in writing terms

I highly doubt that. Also, Richardson is the only one that claims that and who's to say that he isn't lying?
 
I would think that, rather than Richardson being dishonest, he was simply telling history from the Enclave point of view. If America started the war there would be little reason to record that fact. Better to teach the children that it was the evil reds that did it.

And yeah, I know that Tim Cain said China attacked first and that evidence introduced in later games (Gobi Campaign) point to the fact that China was losing and the US was throwing mutually assured destruction to the wind by engaging in conventional warfare within Chinese territory (though China started that too with Anchorage). But none of that is from Fallout 1 or 2 so it doesn’t matter to me.

richardson is pretty honest guy, and if the US is the one launched it he would probably say propaganda thing like the us was forced or something
anyway, china launching nukes was implied day 1, why do you think the glow and day glow were nuked to hell?
