That is so fucking cowardly. You have 50 hours to edit/remove that shit from the original time of your posting or I will edit/remove your account. That is BULLSHIT, kid. Don't play that game here. Don't even fucking go there.

Don't drag GPA/IQ into the picture. It doesn't prove anything.

Usually because the Infinity Engine's idea of combat is pathetic, lame, and a yawn. It has all the interactive qualities of a Punch and Judy show. It's even more restrictive than Diablo 2. Pause, set up attacks, unpause and watch as things play out. That gets boring after the nth battle. The fact that PS:T had a superior storyline was a saving grace for many, but still didn't overcome the monotony of the combat for others.

You keep saying that Baldur's Gate 2 is more in-depth than Fallout 2. HOW?! You've just gone on about combat difficulty and crap like that. COMBAT DIFFICULTY DOES NOT EQUAL DEPTH. In fact, there's usually only one way to finish a quest in the Baldur's Gate series. No, wait...two. Either finish the quest or ignore it. Whereas the multiple choices and ability to solve quests existed in Fallout, Fallout 2, and now in Arcanum. Arcanum's first city, with options on how to play through as whatever character type you wish (and actually responds to such) completely mops the floor with anything BG has. Perhaps in a few years and with the progression that they've gone through with BG games, they might come to something comparable. As it stands, nowhere close. And certainly not close to the choices in Fallout. Baldur's Gate = repetitive combat with weak Fed-Ex quests and 'go kill that' quests.

I know a lot about this, and so do others that have experienced the rather lacking depth of BG games. But, of course, your whole intent was to "wait for an angry reply from a fallout fanatic".

Actually, you were the one who first started it, but issuing a near-challenge/troll in your first post here, then keep whining and sniveling that people here might have a bias (duh) - will only get you the obvious reply. Funny, how that I might enjoy Diablo 2, and loathe BG. I think it's because the combat in D2 is much more interactive than hitting the spacebar like a crack-rat and watching combat go by itself or try to wade through a pseudo turn-based. If I want combat, I'll play D2. If I want an option to play in a world that will respond back to me in depth, I'll play Fallout or Arcanum. I dislike BG because it's pretentious. It has fantastical backgrounds, but very little in the way for options on how to go through the game other than mindless hack and slash. It might be tolerable if it was BETTER hack and slash, but it's not.
Then, when these facts are pointed out, we get accused for being meanies and the like. Hey kid, you're the one that started with the troll and kept it up, and now you're showing your true colors. You're on thin ice now, I'd suggest not pushing it any more. Your bonehead stunt in your last post, combined with requesting posters on the RP board to go spam another board a while back, is quickly making you unwelcome.
