Fallout3 Van Buren - Game CRashes upon start

Greetings,

Looooong time visitor of the NMA site, loooong time fan of the fallout series since Fallout1 (still have Fallout2 installed on my PC).

I recently re-entered the scene since I heard about Fallout3 being released next year, and discovered the Van Buren Fallout3 version.

After downloading and installing the Van Buren demo, I receive an error message that states:
"Failed to create D3DDevice (8876086c) "

All I did was un-rar the downloaded file to my c:\

I did a quick search on this forum, but didn't find anything.

Anyone? I seem unable to install and run the FO3 Demo.

Someone reported this error before, not sure if it was fixed, but the indication is that it's an error in your video card driver/DirectX compartment.

Try looking around here
