Fallout's 10th anniversary: Vault 13 Timeline

You didn't have to make your own crap in F1, 2, or tactics - they were relics/leftovers mostly from the vaults/wars/etc - I think it would be neat as an easter egg idea, but to have some of the basic gameplay rely on it?
And don't forget that Fallout never had you repair your equipment...that sounds much more like.............Oblivion..........hmm........
Actually, having to repair damaged equipment would be a step in a right direction - it's present in a lot of PnP RPGs including GURPS.
Same for improvised weapons. But not flaming sword and rock-it launcher...

What if F3 turns out to be quite OK game?

Will you at least admit that you were whiny little bitches for no reason?

No, unless it's a CTYUOPRFGHJYASDF RPG.

You guys are so pessimistic, you should really give them a chance. Doesn't opening a game box and not knowing what's in it make all the excitement of buying a new game?!?!?!
haha, oho, wow :)

What if you turn out not to be a fucking bethesfag fanbitch moron? That'd be the day...

I'll say what I've always said since day 1 of the F3 announcement - Fallout 3 is going to be a game about as successful, maybe a little less, than Oblivion. Bethesda will make money, which is what their soulless hearts desire. Nothing more, nothing less. It will have an empty feel - just like the other games they've made (Dark Corners of the Earth, anyone?)
Fallout 3 will be loved by those who have not played the Fallout series of games previous. F3 will be the death dirge of the souls of Fallout FANS everywhere.
So go ahead and cheer for Bethesda's Fallout 3 - I won't hold you back. But you cheer for the corruption of an ideal - a dream - a game that had soul - *has* soul - and that soul has been ripped from the body of Fallout by the demons of Bethesda - and my heart weeps for the death of a hero - a hero of the wastes. Rejoice, all enemies of good, for your champion has conquered ours, and your Master has finally overcome what is righteous and good. Farewell, freedom of choice, salutations you shade, you ghost, you empty reflection that is dual-solution side quests. Multi-path gaming, we knew ye well, and ye shall be missed by true gamers everywhere.
:salute:

R.I.P. Fallout - We knew ye well.
