Okay... Here it goes: my first Fallout fan art.

I got a drawing tablet for graduation gift on Thursday and this is one of the first doodles with it.

You're doing fine! Keep at it! You most certainly know everything that can be said about shadows, perspective etc etc already. I mean, you've been here longer than wooz (I think).

edit: Nope, you hadn't. Anyway, you've most certainly read the later posts anyway..

I'm sorry, Angrim, but that's just awful. The mutant's head is kinda okay, but that's about it, really.

Yeah, I know that I need a lot of practice. It's my first colour drawing *ever* with the tablet. I mostly draw with ink and coal.

I *will* master the new media after I've played around with it. You bet.

You should make the power armor more black/grayish. The white color makes him (her?) look like one of them head-smacking Storm Troopers.

I can't help imagining that the mutant is trying to fondle Mr. Storm Troopers nipple. Fap, fap, fap, laserguns goes zap.

Yeah... I used light colours intentionally. Usually I make black and white drawings with a lot of contrast (and black!), so I thought of trying something different this time.

Also, I wanted to leave it to look like somewhat sketchy... I didn't use much time with the pic and I lost interest finishing and polishing it.

Maybe I'll make some more Fallout stuff and try to take it forward.

What I really dislike is that it's clear that you don't remember and didn't refreshed your memory of what all the t-51 look like.

Other than that, it's not entirely catastrophic. Well, work on your flow, the drawing looks like a big puzzle of miniature details, its lines are... sloppy, to say the least.

Yeah... I tried to use just my memory, but it didn't apparently serve me right. Damn.

Today I've been drawing all kinds of stuff for hours with the tablet, just to practice... I think I'm getting a hang of digital drawing slowly. I sure like to work with the tablet.

I'll post some more Fallout stuff, if I happen to draw some.

EDIT: Actually, now when I think of it, I think I was maybe too excited with my new toy when drawing that image... I didn't concentrate on the composition, colours, etc... Well, eh, the next one's gonna be great! Umm... Promise!
