Yes, I also enjoy Eminem, NWA, Dr. Dre, Wu-Tang, and several other rap artists/groups.

And, the fact that Scooter is techno is not the only reason it sucks. Allright, all techno sucks, but Scooter's techno sucks even more than others.
Actually, their biggest hit, "How much is the Fish" uses the melody of a thirty year old Flemish schlager-song about sailors on a boat.
I mean sjeesh. Not only do they suck, they're closet cases too.
 
My favourite band at the moment would be Yestedays new quintet.
One of Madlibs best projects! real great Jazz.

And to Malkivian, in your sig it says "Death to false metal" what is false metal to you? Is it like wannabe poser metal such as most nu-metal groups (Limp Bizkit, korn, slipknot, and such?)
 
I do not have a truly favorite band, since the things I hear are in constant rotation transformation, accompanying me as a person.

But still, there are a few bands/singers/etc.. that I personally enjoy most of the time:

Benny Goodman, Blasted Mechanism, Clã; David Bowie; Gotan Project; John Coltrain; Kraftwerk; Kruder & Dorfmeister; Massive Attack; Morphine; Pixies; Portishead; Radiohead, Sergio Godinho; Sigur Rós; Sofa Surfers; The Doors.

White Stripes is something that I’m currently enjoying.

That and the soundtrack of Kill Bill vol. 1 and 2. Just has I did with the sound track of both Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.

They would qualify, yes. "Death to false metal..." was actually a phrase coined in the 80s and used extensively by power metal band Manowar. I just think it's a cool slogan.

most of the time metal, but lots of softer shit too

Metallica (black album r0x), Pantera, Dimmu borgir, Epica, Drowning pool, Evanescence, Channel zero, Rage against the machine, Deftones, Sepultra, Slipknot, NoFX, and so on and so forth
 
I love good metal, as well. But I'm also big into hardcore and such...

Fave band as of all time is Rush, but I also like Most Precious Blood, Novembre, Divinity Destroyed (a local metal band, you should be able to find MP3s on the net), Shai Hulud, etc.
