As i said to one of my collegue just because i wear a tie and listen to Bethoven in my office it does not mean that i listen to Strauss at the gym.

Hmm yes, We have veered more towards Artist than band but there's not too much difference. And I find Manson more funny then entertaining, Tainted Love is ok but that was copied from somewhere else if I'm not mistaken.

Well perhaps I just have wide tastes, but if I wrote the list again I'd be very tempted to replace Marilyn Manson with The Hives. And Creed are just great, I've put the ones I don't know too much about near the bottom. One's I've only heard one track from on MTV2 or such.

As for Classical stuff, I never too much liked Vivaldi, I haven't heard too much though, I prefer Beethoven.

Really? Well I never knew that, usually I just accept that if its a person's name it counts as an artist rather than a band but. Well, you learn something new every day.
 
How can you say that a person cannot like a band like Marylin Manson and a band like Creed at the same time? A person can like any music all at once, just because its in a different genre doesnt mean it cant be as good or cant be included on the same list. Tainted love was a cover, yes, Depeche Mode did it also, but I dont know who the origional was by...

Also, whoever said that I have a defficient taste in music really needs to shut up and stop being a purile little maggot, because I voiced my oppinion and didnt deserve to be arbitrarily insulted, I see this a lot on this board and its pathetic.

Also 2, How can you put a band in your top ten after "only heard one track from on MTV2 or such"? Doesnt that mean that its just your favourite track rather than favourite band? I mean, is that all a band have to do to be cool nowerdays? Release one or two tracks onto MTV? Perhaps if people like (im making a generalisation there, I assume your like this) you actually supported bands past their first single, instead of abandoning any band who doesnt make it onto MTV for a while, the music industry wouldnt be in such a disgusting state.
 
Marylin Manson is a band named after the lead guy, Marylin Manson. There are a few bands like that, cant remember any more off hand though.
