Favorite books / What are you reading?

Fuck you Akratus.

Edit: I'm sorry, but how many times I've told you this?
Don't take it as an offense, dude. Still, fuck you.

Edit 2: Holy shit, that Dune hardcover. I must have it. I MUST HAVE IT

The Children of HURIN

Not Dune.

Tolkien ending in Vern is excellent.

Take a look at the Folio Society's Dune cover, to be released:

Starship Troopers is my favourite book. Something about it just resonates with me, and all of the history and moral philosophy stuff is just full of some epic quotes.

Close second has to be Dune, but I still need to get my hands on the rest of the books. My "list of books I need to buy" is starting to resemble a book in of itself, tbh.

My B&N Dune hardcoverhas arrived today. If anyone needs free semen, I'm donating a plenty. It's intercontinental ballistics semen, so just send me your coordinates, I'll try to nail the right spot where needed.

I was a voracious reader pre-internet, but since I really haven't read many non-technical fiction books. However last night I read the first 100 pages of American Gods. It helps when you are sober!

What came first? Jack Vance or Dungeons and Dragons?

Apparently, one has to thank the other. Which one, I'm not sure.

I've also been reading about Black May in the Battle of the Atlantic. Dat allied radar tho. Destroyers engaging U-Boats in heavy fog, ramming them as they try to dive, being so close abreast the destroyer cannot train his guns low enough to shoot. Men being men.

I really wish my library had more books in a lot of series

They're missing nearly all of Weiss and Hickman's books, their Mercendes Lackey selection is missing dozens...

*sighs*

Maybe once I move west I'll get a better selection

My favorite book is Schroedingers Cat by Robert Anton Wilson.
After finishing Book 5 of asoiaf im kinda done with Martin, i dont care about half of the characters anymore.

Now reading: First Law Trilogy by Abercrombie & so far its pretty good.
