Us version looks much better for me. The colors, the angle, the "I am better than you" feeling that gives the Enclave soldier...
 
owning the UK version I still have to go with the US version.

I trew away my fallout 1 and 2 box.... foolish me
 
Uk box. It has better composition and more exciting color. US version has too strong blue.
 
I have the UK box, and it's nothing like that screenshot. The colours are much darker on the actual box, the purple isn't so lurid and the yellow is more muted.

Plus the image is wrapped around the box, so you only see a cropped section from the front, unlike the US version. Which from screenshots I've seen is pretty much the same (except also with darker colours). So it's not really fair comparing those two shots.

Comparing my box to screenshots of the finished US box, the US version is much better.
