Idiomatic Speech
Also, what's with the "Masturbation" slide?
Or the slide where the guy is screwing a chicken?!?
"Choking The Chicken" is idiomatic, and here an illustrated, euphemism for male masturbation.
Chicken = Rooster = "Cock".
"Choking" is in alliteration with "chicken" and conveys the repetition of motion and a rather desperate and furious 'grip' on the situation.
Some bright spark was paid to fast cut those trailers and pump the hormones up with metal "muzak". The presentation, the bull sh't writing to hype the metal bands that were marginally featured was a fascinating "tour de farce". Sad to think these trailers and press releases are the "finest hour" of any published game.
I ask, why was so much effort placed in the MARKETING of this game? The smart money at I'play could rationalize the time and money to MARKETING FO:BOS, but not in the production values of FO:BOS itself.
Production values could have included continuity of the story with the PC FO's. One writer, doing their homework, could have achieved this
outline. And, Chuck's 'go to hell attitude' could have been unleashed on parodies of FO's friendly fire features and other foilables. Adapting the BG

A engine to a run and gun game needed some attention, and dubious talent. So why couldn't the in game graphics been given some time and effort in mimicry and playing off of PC FO imagery?
Touching base with these issues may have co-opted a lot of the fans of the PC's FO, and been a over all ADULT entertaining lampoon.
Easter eggs became a feature in FO2, any satirist worth the paycheck would have run rampant in such a fertile pasture, if they had the patience to listen to fans on what they liked and disliked about the FO's, and ... BG

Outside the 'blowing off' all fans, that includes the fans of BG

A, the makers and shakers of FO:BOS seemed to be as deficient in communication skills as they were in creative imagination. Chuck was more a satyr than a satirist, and a "cock" more prone to Onanism then coitus, and that's why the marketing package displays more creative "spunk", more over the top FO inspired fun, regardless the 'salty' taste, then those paid to make the game.
Chuck maintained that he and his crew were "lovers" of FO. We can see the true testament of this sordid romance in the limited scope of the run and gun game they kicked out of bed. Need an example of "true love"? JE 'et al' (that's Latin for you too Puuk) in their retooling for FO3 generated a cornucopia of FO's faults in a wide panoply of forums. Short comings are a fertile field for comedy, and a good way to get all involved. The tough love they displayed in their mission to craft a challenging FO3 game AND their ability and willingness to communicate to all audiences was the best PR that I'play has had in years and real evidence of true intentions to carry on a game saga AND make a quality product. It is obvioius that true artistic integrity is an unknown quantity at I'play, and the first to be jettisoned in their present financial "lifeboat' situation.
If Production Values can be equated with Family Values, the "self abussive" family values at I'play, are the quick and dirty solutions and resolutions, that pander to life's "seedier" dilemmas, but fail to satisfy all "comers".
