Females in Caesars Legion

Michael of the Wastes

First time out of the vault
So... if you planned on Roleplaying your character as part of Caesar's legion, or wanted to do their quests, and you're a female character... how does that make sense?

Doesn't Caesar's legion just enslave every single women it comes across?

According to the FNV official guide, women also serve the Legion as priestesses (back in the Legion-conquered territories, since none are present on the frontlines).

Stuff like this should be in the game, not in some Collectors Edition guide. At least in holodisks, or books or something. It's cheap maybe, but it's far better than the near total lack of exposition for some of the factions.

The NCR history holodisk was pretty interesting.

Well it's not as if the Legion are going to be taking the archives of their history to the front line of the battlefield... Maybe DLC later on will expand into Legion territory?

EDIT: It's not as if women are even needed at the battlefield anyway. Their primary use is to breed.

Where can it be found?

I'm sorry, i was referencing the Fallout 2 item. The point was New Vegas doesn't have anything like that.

I mean for the players who haven't played the originals, there's really no proper exposition to tell them about the factions and if this stuff exists, but it's only in the collectors edition guide, it's just puzzling why it wasn't included.

There is detailed history of the NCR between FO2 and FNV in the CE guide too.

Would have been funny, if a female legion player would become a slave in the endgame slideshow.

i agree -- has anyone here tried that yet? i'm being miss do-gooder for the first playthrough, but was gonna be miss nasty next time and probably side with the legion, at least for a good while -- not sure if i'd turn on 'em because of the whole female issues thing they have, or else stick with 'em because my individual fate would mean less to my character that her hatred for humanity.

Just finished a 'dumb blonde' playthrough where I sided with the Legion, and was a little bit disappointed that there weren't too many changes to the Legion's motivations or opinions on women when it came to the character. The only restriction I came across was that I wasn't allowed to fight in the arena because women aren't permitted to. I was hoping for some more, I dunno, sexist and misogynistic comments.

I can kinda see why though, as the major factions are all just using you as their loose cannon and don't every really see you as 'one of them' - well, not until the end of the game in the ending slides. And I'm sure that by the time you get invited to the Fort the Legion aren't outwardly despising towards you being a female out of a respect for Caesar's decision making.

I'd like to think that this dumb girl who won Hoover Dam for Caesar, through being extremely agile and lucky in life and yet could never manage to work out what to do with a locked container or computer, managed to eventually change the Legion's opinions on women after she had her face minted on a coin :P

Hey, you played the build I'm planning to start! :P

After playing two times with inteligent characters (7 or above inteligence played most through dialog, including not fighting the Leagate because of speech) I decided to make a "humongous super stealth sniper" with 9 of luck and 8 in agility, but with NONE social and intelectual skills: 2 points only for charisma and inteligence. LOL

For more terrifying coincidences this build is planned to side with Legion and being a woman!
Now you spoiled my fun. :(

And to stay in the topic, the magical clothes returned. :x
