Fighting Games

Just bought the new Mortal Kombat (for PS3). It's really good, porbably the best one since the original games (before the 3-D levels like in Deadly Alliance). The x-ray attacks are brutal, and the fatalities do not disappoint. It even has "toasty!" :D.

God damn, best fighting game I've played in a long time.
 
Thinking of getting it when my bro comes back from Uni with a hopefully still working 360 (mine red ringed and his has DvD drive issues) so I can play it.
I like fighting games but none of my friends play them and I never bother with the internet because it's much more fun with both players there. Generally means I'm stuck playing games my brother likes as well like the Soul Calibur games or Blazblue, he really doesn't like Street Fighter which is a shame.
 
IMO games like GG or BB are more interesting, not to mention cool stylistically, even if SF is easier to pick up. Also, SFIV looked ugly as hell. Chun Li's legs are still giving me nightmares.
