I try really hard to like Polinksi, but the Pianist is the only thing I really respect.
Wohooo. Ugly Irish bitch is sister/mother to mysterious woman and daughter/lover of father. Might as well watch a Kabuki play.

You didn't like Chinatown? Damn, that film is classic. Love the ending of that film.

What I like about the noir genre is that it can be used for so many themes- from comedy (the man who wasn't there) to cops (LA Confidential), to sci-fi (Dark City or Blade Runner).
