Wasteland Ghost let us know at the forum that the English version of a brand new Fallout 1 mod is available at the TeamX website. <blockquote>"Fallout Update Mod" v1.2.5 english version can be found in downloads section at TeamX site.

Short description:
This is the first and at this time only Fallout1 mod.
This mod restores quests and people that for some reason haven't been included in the final release of Fallout. The mod adds to Shady Sands, Junk Town, Hub, Adytum and the Brotherhood of Steel.
The mod includes 4 new quests and 27 new people.</blockquote>This being the first mod that actually adds something to Fallout 1, other than a load of phat lewt in the Vault 13 Caves, I'm eager to install it.

Seriously someone finally makes a Fallout 1 mod? Great!

Even better it looks like it fills the few, but terribly open empty spots. I gotta play this.

Neat mod.

I'd just like to make a comment on issue #2 as described in the readme (I know this is probably not the best place, but I dunno where else to go and I'm short on time):

The problem with FO hanging after attacking the supermutants at the Library in the Boneyard is described as rare, and furthermore that it practically doesn't happen if you talk to someone else on the map first.

For me however the game always hangs if the leader of the mutants is killed. I'd appreciate if that's fixed in the next update as it cost me a good couple of gaming hours (having spent much time at the Library just to find out I couldn't get out again. :x ), and even though I am only one person, I'm sure you'll want to spare others from this experience. :wink:
