Those videos and stories about Mexican flying beings are interesting. They are kinda creepy, actually. There's probably some logical explanation, though.
Yeah they moved the contents of Area 51 down to Mexico.

I wonder what a video of UFO's or other weird phenomena would need for people to agree that it was real?

I suspect that no matter how much video evidence was provided, someone somewhere would argue that it was fake.

"Fake until proven real."

Ever heard of that stance? Well, if you haven't, there it is. :D

Also: You are right about one thing - that there will always be someone that argues something is fake despite collosal amounts of evidence. Look at creationists for a perfect example.

In Photoshop nothing is real, nothing is fake.

So, I asked my cousin who used to live in Monterrey at the time what the deal was. Apparently, a lot of people went crazy over it, claiming they had seen the flying witches.

After a while, the witches weren't witches stealing bodies from the slums district's graveyard but warlocks from Catemaco, a town that was supposedly poseesssed by eeeeeeeeviiiilll.

Then, this dude called Jaime Maussan shows up and says HE'S THE KING OF THE UFOS AND THAT THERE ARE THOUSAND YEAR OLD DRAWINGS OF FLYING PEOPLE DRESSED AS WITCHES*.

So yeah. Another chupacabra-style case, scaring peasants with beings from outer space to keep them from paying attention to what's going on in the country. The Chupacabras was made up to hush up the catastrophic devaluation of the Peso in 1994, as well as the guerrilla in Chiapas, incidentally, my home state.

*when he told me this, I literally burst out laughing and couldn't stop for about five minutes. It sounds better in Spanish, though: "Rey de los ovnis".

Wooz, ever heard of this project?

http://disclosureproject.org/

Supposedly they have over 400 government, military, and intelligence community witnesses testifying to their direct, personal, first hand experience with UFOs, ETs, ET technology, and the cover-up that keeps this information secret.

It's funny how they claim to be a non-profit organization, when all there seems to be on the page are links to merchandise and appeals for donations.

Also, I hear gigantic rocks the size of Massachussets crash near NY every week, only the government hushes it up.

Yeah, I supposed that would make some kind of noise. Or maybe they slow down just before they hit the ground?

No really.. Why would aliens be here if not to take over the earth? If we found a new inhabitable planet, wouldn't we live on it? And you know what humans do best. Place themselves in top of the food chain ofcourse! If the dude is an alien, why expose himself to another alien race without backup? Way of the chart? Maybe its like that strange chark outside of japan... its sick and needs a place to die. LET ZE HUNT BEGIN!

really.

Some guy in the video comments said:
the witch in this video is fake, obviously the witch is someone with black contact lenses & wearing a black flowing costume, this is probably a goth who hates life and wants to kill policemen

...

I don't know wich one of YouTube or IMDb has more moronic users.

Yeah,I know the feeling...what I do know is that you won't find many morons around this place...and like Vault dweller pointed out,it'll also make it hard to discuss this matter here...

I seriously doubt any form of flying humanoids are around, the only logic I could see this as is some mexican PR campaign "Hahaha, stupid Americans, build your fence,we'll all just fly over it" :P

I doubt however that this world is the only one with life in this big universe due to odds, but I doubt that any more developed society/lifeform than hours would spend their time flying around in front of a camera....
If they're friendly they'd come forward and say "We're here to help you stop deceases and war" and if they're hostile,it'd be more along the lines of War of the worlds.
