FO on TV

So Old I'm Losing Radiation Signs
When starting FO, you hear the music and see the picture on the TV.

However, after installng FO on my new PC I noticed what sounded like voices in the background og the audio, almost as if the sound from the TV was barley audible.

Anyone know what its saying ?

if you have a really strong radio station tower in your locality, your speakers might be picking it up...

i live less than 3 miles from the WLW tower... and you can hear it if you put your ear near a chain link fence. just for reference... you can hear WLW in Missouri... even though its based in Mason, Ohio

yeah, my speakers also make a beeping noise just before i get a call on my cell phone... crappy FCC violating nokia pos

It could also be that you're picking up cordless phone conversations. I used to pick them up from my neighbors on my stereo at home.

Oh man this opens up a gaggle of questions.

Maybe its subliminal messaging telling you to get your friends to buy Fallout.

Maybe its interference from your speakers as you hear a cell phone user somewhere in the world talking about how their driving and talking at the same time!

Maybe...just maybe...its the little voices in your head. You know the one's that say to put the hamster in the microwave? Medication can fix it.

Sincerely,

I'm familiar with the Nokia phones mucking with the radio; I get a sort of low frequency buzzing right before mine rings, and while it does. I get interference if I hold it too close to my speakers; and we're talking about *shielded* speakers! Anywho, I like the idea of being able to listen to the radio on a fence; it's freaky. Once upon a time I had a cordless phone/TV set combo that let you eavesdrop on someone's conversation by having the TV set on.

Radio energy is pretty strange stuff; my father was a radar controller in the Air Force in the 1970s (when we used the Klystron-driven radars that were the most powerful radars ever created) and the energy could cause burnt-out fluorescent tubes to light up without even being in a fixture. (Someplace I've got a picture of those tubes on a fence spelling out "MERRY X-MAS" so it would light up every time the sweep went around.)

[EDIT] I once used the Nokia phone thing (because it buzzes BEFORE it rings) to get a friend of mine to think I'm psychic because I reached for it before it rang! He freaked.
